Aroma Acupoint Therapy & Auriculotherapy
What is AAT?
This gentle modality draws wisdom from Traditional Chinese, Greek and Auyervedic medicine to address imbalances in the energetic systems of the body by pairing the indications and functions of both essential oil and acupoint, to activate acupuncture points and meridians, fostering an energetic shift
Because Aroma Acupoint Therapy employs only essential oils, it is well suited to those with an aversion to needles or sensitive systems It can also be a powerful compliment to acupuncture and other bodywork
What are Ear Seeds?
The Traditional Chinese practice of Auriculotherapy views the ear as a microsystem of the body. Each point corresponds to part of the physical and/or emotional body. Ear seeds employ natural seeds or metal pellets to apply continuous pressure to these points, easing the body back to a state of balance. From subtle to stylish, ear seeds are worn for up to a week to prolong the benefits of your treatment. Because ear seeds are non-invasive, they are well suited to those with an aversion to needles as well as children. Auriculotherapy can also serve as a lovely compliment to acupuncture and other modalities.

Meet Kari . . .
For years, Kari has been on the receiving end of modalities in Traditional Chinese Medicine, including acupuncture, herbs, Aroma Acupoint Therapy, and auriculotherapy. She describes her experience as one of amazing discovery.
Kari goes on to say, “Every treatment is different, filled with magic, and I continue to be amazed by the power contained in the wisdom of these practices. As I started to explore how I could share these beautiful experiences with others I was led to AAT. In October of 2017, I completed my Level I AAT certification in NYC with Tiffany Pollard Carole, MS, LAc, EAMP and Christine Nichols, LAc. In November I returned to NYC to complete my Level II AAT certification with Peter Holmes, LAc, MH. In 2021 I completed my certification as an Ear Seeds practitioner under the instruction of Elie Goldschmidt, LAc. Currently, I am pursuing certification in Aromatherapy, exploring the subject through the lens of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Auyerveda. This is just the beginning of my journey as I seek knowledge of essential oils, ancient wisdoms, and the pairing of the two. Stay tuned...
Away from the table I enjoy all things beautiful, whether it be a work of fine art, the wonders of nature, music that moves, sharing an incredible meal, or the sweet sounds of my children's laughter.”
